Strokestown Park House
This Palladian House and estate is a capsule in time with many features: an uncommon galleried kitchen; elegant vaulted stables; a six-acre walled garden; mausoleum; bridge; gates; and lodge. It houses the Strokestown Famine Museum and has a restored six acre walled pleasure gardens giving an insight into horticultural design and architecture from the 1740’s to the present day.
